Yale names Princeton assistant Dalila Eshe as new women’s basketball coach

Eshe has spent the past 3 yrs on Carla Berube’s employees at Princeton. She was assistant mentor/recruiting coordinator for a group ranked 24th in the country though winning the Ivy League title last calendar year. The Tigers upset Kentucky in the NCAA Tournament.

She has also coached at LaSalle, East Carolina, and began as Director of Functions at Loyola Maryland.

As a player, Eshe was All-SEC for Florida in 2006. She was a second-round draft select of the Seattle Storm in 2006 and invested time with the Washington Mystics and Atlanta Aspiration.

Yale was 16-11 past time, qualifying for the Ivy League Tournament as the No. 3 seed. The Bulldogs lost to Columbia in the semifinals of the league match.
