Birmingham, Ala. – A complete of 1,531 student-athletes ended up named to the 2022 Spring SEC Academic Honor Roll, Wednesday by SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey.
The 2022 Spring SEC Educational Honor Roll involves the athletics of baseball, golfing, softball, tennis and monitor & discipline. It is based mostly on grades from the 2021 Summer time, 2021 Slide and 2022 Spring conditions.
Any student-athlete who participates in a Southeastern Conference championship sport or a student-athlete who participates in a sport mentioned on his/her institution’s NCAA Athletics Sponsorship Form is eligible for nomination to the Academic Honor Roll. The adhering to conditions will be adopted: (1) A pupil-athlete should have a quality place regular of 3.00 or previously mentioned for possibly the preceding educational yr (two semesters or 3 quarters) or have a cumulative quality position average of 3.00 or earlier mentioned at the nominating establishment. (2) If a student-athlete attends summer time university, his/her grade issue ordinary throughout the summer season educational phrase must be provided in the calculation used to decide eligibility for the Academic Honor Roll. (3) University student-athletes eligible for the Honor Roll include these acquiring an athletics scholarship, recipients of an athletics award (i.e., letter winner), and non-scholarship college student-athletes who have been on a varsity crew for two seasons. (4) Prior to staying nominated, a university student-athlete have to have efficiently concluded 24 semester or 36 quarter hours of non-remedial tutorial credit score toward a baccalaureate degree at the nominating establishment. (5) The college student-athlete will have to have been a member of a varsity crew for the sport’s full NCAA Championship phase.
