NFF appoints Salisu, Bosso, Ugbade, Bassey to head male National Teams

The Govt Committee of the Nigeria Football Federation has accepted the suggestion of its Complex and Improvement Sub-Committee for the appointment of Salisu Yusuf as the Head Coach of the Super Eagles B (if not recognized as CHAN team) as nicely as the U23 (Olympics) workforce.

In other appointments, Ladan Bosso retains his situation as Head Mentor of the U20 Boys. He will work with former U17 Head Mentor, Fatai Amao (Assistant Coach) Oladuni Oyekale (Assistant Coach) Jolomi Atune Alli (Assistant Mentor) and Baruwa Olatunji Abideen (Goalkeepers’ Coach)

For the U17 Boys, Golden Eaglets, Nduka Ugbade was named Head Coach. He will work with Ahmad Lawal Dankoli (Assistant Coach) Omoniyi Haruna Ilerika (Assistant Mentor) Yemi Daniel (Assistant Mentor) and Mohammed Nasiru Isah (Goalkeepers’ Coach). Ugbade captained Nigeria’s initial cadet crew that received the FIFA U16 Globe Cup in China in 1985.

For the U13/15 Boys acknowledged as Long run Eagles, Patrick Bassey will be Head Coach and will do the job with Abdullahi Tyabo Umar (Assistant Coach) Mohammed Kalli Kachalla (Assistant Mentor) Ifeanyi Uba (Assistant Coach) Alh. Mohammed Kwairanga (Assistant Mentor) and Abubakar Abdullahi (Goalkeepers’ Coach).

The NFF also mentioned that a new Head Mentor for the Super Eagles will be introduced and officially unveiled when the processes for his engagement and contract-signing are concluded.

The NFF Government Committee has also permitted the suggestion of the Technical & Growth Sub-Committee for the new Head Coach to get the job done with Coach Salisu Yusuf (any time he is accessible from Super Eagles B/U23 Team obligations) as 1st Assistant.
