At the other end of the table, Everton eased their fears of relegation with victory, while Burnley and Watford were both defeated.
Whatever your goals for FPL are this season, itās time to pull out all the stops and get creative. You donāt want anyone else winning that Ā£50 from the work sweepstake, do you?
Here are 90minās top picks for Gameweek 33.
Mount has been on a bit of a roll recently. Since the start of March, the England international has provided four goals and six assists in all competitions, with an excellent performance coming at Real Madrid in midweek.
With Chelsea now out of the Champions League, Thomas Tuchel should revert to a more consistent starting XI. Theyāre in FA Cup action at the weekend but return to league duties against Arsenal next week.
With Mount in great form, heās definitely one to keep an eye on.
Pep Roulette gets us all over the course of a season, but one beneficiary could be Gabriel Jesus.
The Brazilian has largely struggled to get into the starting XI this season but played and scored against Liverpool last week.
With Manchester City targeting success in three competitions, Guardiola may give Jesus some Premier League game time as part of his rotation policy.
Christian Eriksenās arrival has galvanised Brentfordās attackers. Ivan Toney is back among the goals, but impressing also is Mbeumo.
The Frenchman has registered a goal and two assists in his last two outings, with the Bees enjoying impressive wins against Chelsea and West Ham.
An outing at Vicarage Road against a struggling Watford could yield a decent point return.
Hereās a big striker with a few fixtures in GW33 to look forward to.
Wood was the match-winner as Newcastle squeezed past Wolves on Friday night and has fixtures against Leicester and Crystal Palace up next, both of which are at St Jamesā Park.
He does have games against Liverpool, Manchester City and Arsenal before the seasonās out, so bear that in mind.
Another one of our double gameweek picks is Leicesterās Maddison.
The midfielder is hitting form at the right time as the Foxes target Europa Conference League glory and has contributed a goal and two assists in his last four games.
His run-in is favourable too, with only games against Tottenham and Chelsea looking particularly tough. In GW33, Leicester face Newcastle and Everton.
Itās tough to make a great case to select a player whose Southampton side has just been slapped 6-0. That being said, the Saints are good at bouncing back and have two opportunities to do so in GW33.
Southampton first host a wounded Arsenal at St Maryās on Saturday before travelling to Burnley for the gameweekās last fixture on Thursday.
Adams is their joint top scorer alongside James Ward-Prowse on seven league goals and is as good value as any of their other threats.
