Previous Tennessee running again Dee Beckwith has transferred to Kentucky.
The former Vol appeared Monday on the Wildcats’ roster, much more than 5 months soon after getting into the portal Jan. 6. He has not introduced the transfer.
The 6-foot-5, 227-pounder put in two seasons with the Vols but by no means settled into a continuous purpose.
Beckwith signed with UT as a a few-star athlete in the 2020 class. He played quarterback, functioning back and wide receiver at Florence (Alabama) Superior College.
But with the Vols, Beckwith bounced close to the lineup. He in no way in good shape at protection or linebacker on defense or limited conclude on offense. Most of his 5 video games performed were spent on special teams.
At jogging again, Beckwith experienced 4 carries for 27 yards in two seasons. He had a person rush endeavor in 2021 in spite of accidents to various working backs ahead of him on the depth chart.
