Byblos Team win second edition of Lebanese Expats Basketball Championship

Byblos Team won the second edition of the Lebanese Expats Basketball Championship, held in Dubai, organised by Sports Mania Dubai and under the supervision of Dubai Sports Council and UAE Basketball Federation.

In a thrilling final game between Zahle and Byblos hosted at Al Wasl Sports Club, both teams showed great basketball level, high team spirit & sportsmanship. Team Byblos managed to grab the win with a final score 83 – 63.

The champions won a Dh12,000 cash prize.

Some of the game’s attendees were sports analyst at Dubai Sports TV Mr. Ashraf Samara, MEBS founder Mr. Mostafa Ezzedine, Owner of Ghost Honey Mr. Mayya Homsi, and Veteran players Tony Faddoul & Richard El Husseini.

–          Best Scorer & 3 points shooter: Al Hassan Dandash from Zahle Team

–         Best Stealer & Assist: Johnny Nemer from Beirut Team

–          Best Rebounder & Shot Blocker: Will Bechara from Byblos Team

–          Best Team Spirit: Tripoli Team Handed to Richard El Husseini

_          Best Leadership: Charles Merhej from Byblos Team

_          Most Improved Team: Team Baalbek

_          Best Coach: Robert Bou Dagher, Byblos Coach

_          Most Supportive Fan: Veteran player Tony Faddoul
